Winterkatzes Herbstlesen 2015

Reading in October

Hi, i am still around. And getting used to my new job, so I will probably be more active again soon.

Although I didn't have much spare time, I managed to read 3 books this month. All of them Wrestling biographies :D I don't know.. Once I started I couldn't stop. It's funny how lucky I am with biographies in general. The few I read so far have all been amazing, especially the one by Ozzy Osbourne. Oh my, what a life this man had!

But now I feel like something else again and want to finish Michael J. Sullivan's Theft of Swords, which I enjoy reading so far. Nothing new, but very entertaining with great characters and a good story. I also bought a new book, The Girl in the Spider's Web, although I am not sure if I will like it. But as I loved the Stieg Larsson books sooo much, I couldn't resist and risk being disappointed. And who knows - maybe it's a great read.

I would love to finish Margaret Atwood's MaddAddam Trilogy this month as well. The last book is already waiting to be read!

Reading in September

This is just a short post. I am SO busy at the moment. I started a second job and am now working 6 or 7 days a week. But that was my own choice so no complaining :-)

I will always find time to read and do what I like though. In August I felt like reading some books from my childhood and went through the first two books of the Saddle Club series by Bonnie Bryant. My, they are sooo sweet and innocent! But I can't read too many of them, so I leave it and go back whenever I feel like it.

I also finished Fool's Quest by Robin Hobb, one of my most anticipated reads this year and AAAAH ALL THE FEELS AND THE END AND I LOVE LOVE EVERYONE!!! I can't wait for the last one but will for sure be crying my eyes out if this will really be the end.

After that I couldn't stick with Fantasy and read a short biography. I actually enjoyed it so much that I started another one right after that. It's about Bret Hart, a popular Wrestler from the 80's and 90's. My partner already read it and said it was great so I am very much looking forward to it.
